New term. *sighs*

._. So I've just survived one week at my new school...I must say that I'm still suffering from abit of culture shocku....@_@ It's really quite different from what I am used to at NYP...

Monday. Went to school for briefing of some sort. It's basically a really brief explanation of the modules and the assignments we'll be having for the first five weeks. ._. The first thing I noticed is that...there's no lecture halls. The briefing was held in a studio and everyone sits on chairs, with the projector showing the powerpoint slides on the WALL.

Apparantly, in terms of facilities, perhaps Comm design isn't as good as DMD.

Day 2, it's my REAL class. I was the first to reach there...and was rather apprehensive due to the fact that I wasn't even sure if I am at the right place or not. The lecturer came later on...and entered the room, so I entered it, and asked if there's a class or something. I THOUGHT THE LECTURER WAS A STUDENT. Turns out, he's a part time teacher I think. After yet another few more minutes of waiting alone, the rest of the class flooded in....and I was suddenly struck by the fact that...hey, ALL OF THEM KNOW EACH OTHER. D8

One girl approached me, however. Her name's Melissa...and she asked if I am a new student and stuff...got my contact no. and email and so on...I asked her about the class, wondering if my guess was correct, and apparantly, it was. All the other students in the class shared the SAME class in the previous term. DX I WAS THE STRANGER THERE. But she introduced me to the class (sort of) and...well, they are pretty friendly I guess. ._.

Class starts, and the first assignment is given out. A group project to make a 30 seconds advertisement with the theme 'Chill Out' (the lecturer goes on to say that '=_= yeah, I know, it's lame. But it's in the brief'. He didn't really like the module structure though ._. he finds it boring~)I was kinda at lost...since...DX I AM NEW. But Melissa offered to let me join her group... ._. and so, I kinda made my first friends at Lasalle.

Let's see how many people I've known so far...Melissa, Wanru, this blond ang mo from swiss whom I have no idea what her name is but she's in my group, Debby, Alan(...I think? He introduced himself after Melissa introduced me to the class on Tuesday...)...I think that's about it. .__.

Wednesday, we had Design Studio...which is like...erm...studio project kinda? In which you work on three assignments at the same time and they all have the same deadline which is WEEK FIVE. @_@ The teacher is a guy...who's quite cute lah. LOL~ He's a foreigner, and...he's abit niang. ^^;;; But he's quite nice~ :)

Thursday, I had project meeting or the Chill Out thing...where we settled the story board and the music stuff... ._. I'll need to work on the basic concepts for the Design Studio projects during the weekends...@_@

---

My thoughts so far...the culture shock is...probably due to the fact that I am rather used to NYP's system. In which you don't get homework so soon when school starts. And each module will usually have only three major assignments, and you learn the necessary skills as you do them. At Lasalle, it's different...you learn the skills and stuff AS you do the assignments...and it's more hands on...alot of sketching and writing and stuff...AND EVERYONE THERE SPEAKS ENGLISH. DX I was struck by the sudden realisation that my English isn't as good as I thought it was. @_@ Another thing is...during each lesson, there's a class exercise...It's rather intensive I guess...very different from NYP in a sense.

Considering that I'm currently in the last year of the Diploma course, I compared it to the year 3 stuff at NYP...and realised that the difference is probably what they decide to teach you. ._. NYP gives students more experience in the industry with the FYPJ and Attachment programmes...however, it's a double edged sword...you either sink or swim, since many people tend to end up slacking during FYP and IAP (ahhaa, like me =_=) and when they get back to school, they find it hard to start being hardworking again...thus the rather bad results. I sincerely thought that those who studied first, then move on to IAP and FYPJ got better results. ._. Or perhaps that's just me trying to find an excuse for my procrastination at DMD. =_=

Dad wants me to ace in Lasalle, but I'm actually doubting my abilities...DX I have this feeling that my skills are not as good as my classmates...since they have learnt skills to produce graphic art...typography and stuff...@_@ I haven't touch typography SERIOUSLY since AGES. I'm pretty lousy at it actually. Yet one of the assignments is solely TYPOGRAPHY. @_@ Urgh. So right now, I'm pretty much stressed from worrying that I am not up to standards. T__T

On the bright side, the head of Comm Design (forgot her name) says that I can email her a formal letter regarding the HK trip to take leave for week 10. 8DD I hope things go well! >__> As for now, CONVINCE MY DAD. Last week, I finally finished the story...and, man, I shed a few tears~ ;__;

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_ResYRs_X5Ys/SChqNDa9LMI/AAAAAAAAABU/QoN9n0T82x4/s320/9d4f878f27ff2bfcff9e3f873c071864.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5199522542288448706" />

The story revolves around this boy named Neku, who finds himself one day with no memories at all in the main streets of Shibuya. Later on, he realised that he had been enlisted into playing the Shinigami Game, which is basically a survival game. The game is held in a world that is identical to the real Shibuya, and players get there through their deaths. Players has to get pass seven days or be erased forever. If they managed to survive through the seven days, they will be allowed to return to the real world alive.

The story is separated into three chapters, in which Neku has a different partner for each chapter. The battle system is unique too~ Neku battles against monsters and creatures known as 'Noise' with pins that has unique powers and you can train them up and level them through various methods. In a battle, you share HP with your partner, so if your partner dies, you die too. *_* You can also choose to operate the two characters at the same time, or u can just concentrate on neku and your partner will be on auto fighting mode.

Honestly, this is the first RPG that I seriously played. I'm not a RPG person....most of the time I play strategy games.....but this game has rather straight forward controls and after awhile, you get the hang of it.

Battles can get rather hard sometimes...especially with the last few bosses. I seriously HATE the final boss. He made me died for 5-6 times and I have to keep trying cause I can't save. *sighs* In desperation, I ended up beating him in Easy mode, sacrificing the chance to get more battle points as well as a special and powerful pin, just to watch the ending sequence.......in which the final plot twist appeared.

>____> Damn, it was worth it.

After completing the game, you have to now clear requirements and get reports, which is what I am doing now~ There appears to be another additional chapter called 'Another Day'....AND IT'S HILARIOUS. XDDD It's an alternate universe to the game world, where the characters has different personalities. Aw man, I had a good time laughing my head off as I played it. XDDD

I hope I can finish getting the reports though......*sighs* Beating the bosses at hard mode is horrible work. ;_; I wonder when I'll finish them.

...orz

lalala~

^_^;;; ahaha~ Haven't been updating for a while now~ So here I am~ 8D

Spent the past few weeks slacking mostly...and working of course. So yeah. ._.

Ah well, we'll see how bah~ *shrugs* 船到桥头自然直~

--

Last but not least....been practising drawing with my mouse again...and I think I'm improving! 8D

Here's my latest work~ ^_^

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_ResYRs_X5Ys/SBlX5LjMnhI/AAAAAAAAABM/pFdVD6Ot2eE/s320/dead27small.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5195280285013155346" />

._. Stuff

Haven't been updating for awhile now...so here goes~

Went out with dan, sagara, skye and kie to sing at Cash studios on Vday~ XD I had a great time~ 8D Too bad they didn't had 'Kufufu no fu' or 'Sakura Addiction' yet. D; I do hope they put it up soon! I wanna sing DBSK's newer songs as well...but the latest songs are from the 'Summer' album...and that's like a long time ago. Singing 'Love in the Ice' by myself is lonely! I wanna sing with neesan. >__<

Sang Ouendan's songs as well...and I'm like 'omg, I haven't played it for a long time'. :x Had been playing Phoenix Wright instead...so I kinda neglected Ouendan...X_X

Speaking of Ouendan.......I wanna buy a ds lite. +_+ Am planning to get my sisters to sponsor a little...XD;; Probably getting it next week >__>

--

Anyway, I started reading Eyeshield 21, cause of Sagara. LOL. It's quite...nice, in a exciting way. I mean, the physics they have there is almost like PoT, which is impossible in real life. ._. But I like the tactics they use...LOL~ Quite interesting~ :D

I'm more high on Oofuri instead~ <333 It's an anime/manga about baseball, and I was pretty skeptical about it in the first place (cause I'm not really interested in baseball). After much pimping from my online friends, I decided to watch it...and it's brilliant. The anime is brilliant. I think it was produced last year...and let me tell you this. It has the best animation I've seen in a while. I've stopped watching anime last year cause of the dropping standard in the quality (in terms of colouring and animation). Really, as much as I love the manga for D.Grayman, Reborn, Naruto, or Bleach, I can't bring myself to watch their anime anymore due to the lousy animation quality (especially Reborn! X__X).

In the middle of all these anime, there's Oofuri, with its 25 episodes, in which I've seen quality animating of running, pitching, and basically in-game movements. Damn nice. *___*

The story is simple, but nice, in a heartwarming way. Seeing how caring the teammates are towards the main character makes me smile like an idiot~ 8D

So yeah, right now, I am oofuri-high~! 8D

--

Grad show in two weeks time...ORZ I am so dead. I really want to revamp my website...and I'm probably going to make it simplier...don't think I have alot of time to put in too much flash animation. T_T

Anyway...if anyone is curious...Here's my website.

._. please be warned that it's damn pathetic. ~_~ I'm not happy with it, but this is the end result of much rushing. *headdesk* Er, and please use IE when viewing it... it doesn't work on Mozilla for some reason. ORZ I'm still trying to figure out why. =_=

And yes, I'm so going to change it.

--

Been working on Mike's commission...came up with three, but I'm not really happy with them. ORZ YET I AM AT MY WITS END. T__T So yeah, I'm just hoping that it'll be good enough. *sighs*

--

p.s: I wanna go japan. She was crying. And I was wondering what happened and all...

I thought I heard wrongly when she told me about david.

All that went through my mind was 'omg'.

And before I knew it, tears were leaking out of my eyes and I jus can't stop them, even though in 10 minutes time, I'm due for my presentation.

Washed my face twice and nearly calmed myself when another teacher saw my swollen eyes and asked wat happened.

After I told him, I began crying again and he called Ms.Pat out...who later postponed my presentation to another day.

It struck me real hard when the coffin opened at the crematorium that...hey, he's really gone. And he's not gonna join us for any more pracs...and we won't see him perform again...and we won't hear any more lame jokes from him, or see his funny face...

He looked like he's asleep, lying in that coffin. I guess some part of me still think that he's alive...

I wasn't a close friend of David...but, he's someone whom I've talked to, and we'll like wave at each other if we see each other at school or something...and I remember his Da Zao performance and how it made me laugh and all...

To david, rest in peace...we'll all miss you.

HAPPY NEW YEAR~!

Wao, how time flies eh~? So many things happened in 2007...and yet it felt like everything just happened only recently...

2007 is a...okay year for me~ :) Not too great, but not bad either. I went to japan and australia for the first time in my life...and experience the cold weather that we can never get in Singapore! ^__^

AIMF is probably the most memorable~ thinking back, I thought 'Ah, how nice if I can relive that experience again...'

Studies was...so-so, I guess. IAP is an eye opener...though I wished I could have done better. =__= FYPJ seemed so far away now....*__* And modules...=__= I experience my second 'near-fail' event in my three year stint in this course...

It's so close to graduation now that I really can't afford to fail anything...x__X Have to buck up and do my best for my portfolio too...@_@

For my new year resolution...I have a few~ Firstly, I want to graduate without any accidents...graduate safely from DMD >__> Secondly, I want to get into uni without any accidents too...^__^;; Thirdly, cosplay...^^;; Finally got back to it after a year of absence...Hope I can do a good job of it this year!

As for CO...well, I'm not sure if I'll go back after graduating...cause of many issues involved. .__. To be honest, I felt my eagerness for CO had died down recently...and I don't know if it'll go on or if it's temporary.

Ah well~ I'll just take things a step at a time for now...^^;; So yeah, Happy New Year, everyone! 8D

More stuff!

Holidays nooooow annnnnd...I had been slacking on my homework .__.;;

Homework talk aside, my malaysian friends came over on friday~! 8D I went to meet them at woodlands when they reached annnnd...we spend the first few hours sitting in burger king and reading doujins. XD;;

Saturday was spend at CO, in which the practise was horrible (:( My percussion teacher gave me the timpani scores for the new songs. T_T), but the gift exchange was fun~ XD I got a box of giant choco pocky from teckhan! 8D

Sunday was a CO concert with neesan, in which dan, durui, chu jun and joyce went too~ It was quite good...though...I have to admit that I don't really appreciate the solos (cause I was falling asleep XD;;). I don't really like the percussion people on the singapore side of the orchestra...the hong kong ones are better...:D And I LOVE THE 'THREE MONKS' PERF~ XD The face-changing perf was brilliant too! The female actress is damn pretty~ *__*

Monday was the photoshoot with sagara and my msia friends...in which it was held in the hotel room, and I is seme for the first time~ *HAPPY* Though I must admit that being seme is hard. (I is damn sad that we cannot play 餐具碰碰乐. ;__; 700 bucks for that score. ORZ)

The esplanade experience is different for me this year...very different. I remember feeling damn nervous and cursing inwardly at the stupidly hot stage lights. By the time we were performing the last songs, I was sweating like mad...this year, I wasn't too nervous, and I wasn't sweating at all.

Not exactly a bad thing...but I guess I kinda missed the adrealine and excitment I used to feel before a performance...

-------

EOY in four days. @_@;; I is nervous about Tsuna's wig. OTL I won't have time to go to Ben's place for styling...based on my calculation anyway. ~_~ Will have to style it myself on that day...:X Taihen daaaa @__@

I'm also nervous about the perf. X___X;; Sculpturing...in which I thought that the assignment was due NEXT WEEK, so imagine my horror when I heard Mr.Calvin Tan going 'I'm gonna grade you guys later before the class ends'.

.........>_______<;;;

In the end, I ponned UCD lesson, which was immediately after sculpturing lesson...and managed to finish the model in time. OTL

Mr.Tan also reminded us about the drawing assignment...WHICH IS DUE TML. X___X SO I was like 'DFJSDKFJkALDiASKDJSKDJSDdsdklsdlfL!!! X___X'

Went to see doc after grading at 3pm...and the usual clinic I go to isn't opened. :( SO I went to the other one...in which I had to wait for a frigging 45 mins for a consultation that is barely 5 mins. =_= Then I have to wait for another 30 mins to get my medicine. Walaoz. And when I give the person a 50 dollar note, she's like 'Can you wait for a moment? Or do you have the exact amount?' I said no, so she said I have to wait.

10-15 mins later, the woman holding the key to the casher machine came out of some room and I finally got my change back. =__= Horrible.

Anyway, went home, did sketches and thumbnails for my drawing assignment...and began working after watching Ju mong~ And after around 3 hours of non-stop working, I managed to finish it. *phew*

Gonna try and fill up my sketch book now...+__+

SICK

@__@ I fell sick, but yeah, it's not too serious...but it's damn annoying, irritating and horrible. I am so fucking dead.

--

Heard about the Cambodia incident on monday during sculpturing lesson. I wasn't aware of it until I asked my classmates about it. Apparantly, one of the student who died was a student of DMD...and Ms.Gail knew him.

We talked about the incident on Wednesday during Art and History class...and Ms.Gail wanted to talk about the topic of 'Blame' ...

And, well, I can see that she's really upset about the death. :( Her voice hitched many times during the discussion...and she managed to control it till the end of the class, where she nearly, NEARLY cried. Her eyes and nose were all red though.

Ms.Gail said that the student wasn't one who left the most impression on her...wasn't a student she's really close with...but, right now, she can't forget about him.

This leads to me wondering for the rest of the week...why do humans only learn to regret and treasure things and people and creatures and animals AFTER they are gone, and there's no means to get them back? Why don't we treasure them when they are still around?

I guess it's a matter of taking things for granted...or perhaps it's regret? Regret that you didn't show more care to the person...regret that you didn't spend more time with him or her...

In this short 19 years of my life, I have yet lost some one whom I am really, REALLY close with...but since I was in around...secondary 1(I think)...everyday, I thought about what I will do IF someone I cared for deeply died. Be it my family member, my friends, my relatives, my nanny...

(TOUCH WOOD)

So yeah...I thought about it, make myself worry and worry, and I couldn't come to a conclusion as to what I will do...simply because I can't IMAGINE that happening...

There's the saying 'Do things everyday as though you are about to die tomorrow.'

...Seriously, it's easier said than done. Don't you agree?

--

Probably have to kick the idea of going CF out of my head...cause it's hard to achieve...=_=;; Especially if what I am planning was to go in the day and come back to SG in the evening.....MUZUKASHII SUGI.

In any case, will go to EOY whether friends are going or not...mainly cause of the Kuroshitsuji cosplay~! ^__^ Wanna take photos~ :)

--

p.s: Time to start thinking about my future. *sighs*

More stuff

Finally, FINALLY leeched FFVII:Crisis Core high resolution cgi scene cuts from my friend...only to remember that she didn't have the last scene....T^T Which depicts the ending of Zack's story.

I went to Youtube to watch it instead...........and I really cried. T_T I think partially it's cause of the damn depressing song they used, the storyboarding, and the voice actors. Really. And when they played the guitar version of 'Aerith theme' for that scene...I really BAWLED. T___T

The theme song 'Why' is a brilliant song as well...goes damn well with the whole game.

Yes Zack, you have finally became a hero. T_T And Cloud, you poor thing. :(

On a brighter note, I love the fighting scene between Sephiroth, Genesis and Angeal~ *__* Damn nice, in terms of the fighting, the graphics, the colours, and everything! (but really, Genesis don't sound like Gackt at all...though he IS voice-acted by Gackt! D;) Sephiroth was happily chopping the gigantic cannon, on which the three of them were STANDING on. The chopped cannon pieces dropped into the ocean like chopped spring onions dropped into soup. XD I came to the conclusion that Sephiroth's fighting technique is the 'Chop Swing'~

p.s: the sound track is composed by someone else, not Nobuo Uematsu. D: No wonder it has a different feel...It sounds kinda country. XD;; But I feel that it suits Zack ALOT~ 8D

p.s.s: FFVII:CC is full of gay hints. Nuff said. I see Zack/Cloud AND Angeal/Zack in the ending. T_T Sad, but ghei, as my friend put it, yes. BUT IT'S STILL DAMN TOUCHING. T____T

----

Today, a close friend of mine cried in front of me. It's not like an outright bawl...more like a few tears here and there.

But I was quite shocked. Simply because...I never see her as a person who will cry...since she's quite serious and proper most of the time...to me, she's a really strong person, who won't cry even when she's really down.

Guess I don't really know her as much as she knows me. But anyway...

She told me about her problems...actually, I don't really remember how we ended up talking about that...we started out talking normal stuff...NAPFA...school...etc etc...and then...she started telling me about her troubles.

To be honest, I am honoured. She said that she didn't want to talk about it to anyone, but she did told me...so I feel really honoured that she told me.

I still wish that she'll stop surpressing her troubles and keep silent, since it'll just backfire on her. Tried persuading her gently...but she's stubborn about that. Ah well, I guess each person has his/her own way of handling troubles. I would have choose to say it out, while she is choosing to keep silent and let it go away.

Sometimes, I feel really helpless when people tells me about such things...cause sometimes, I really want to help, but I can't do anything. I can't give good advice to them or help them in any way...and sometimes, I really hate myself for being so helpless.

To this friend of mine(even though u'll probably won't find this), I do hope that you will find your answer one day and be free of your troubles. *hugs* In the mean time, hang on.

--

Today is also yet another day in which someone questions about my involvement in my CCA. They were saying that I should just quit and focus on my studies...

Well, to be honest, I did thought about it for a long time, quitting, that is. Ever since year 2. ^^;; Many times happened, and due to such things, I nearly, NEARLY left the orchestra...

But I can't leave. Please take a look at the sorry state of the percussion group and tell me if it'll be right for me to just leave like that. =_= Everytime I ask myself this question, my conscious will nag at me. And I know that if I do such an irresponsible thing, my guilt will come back and bit me in the ass. :X

xp was saying that most people left mainly because they didn't have friends in CO. Which is true, in a way. I did saw 'case studies' of such examples...and they make sense to a certain degree. Some of them has time management problem, others are just simply not committed to practise the songs.

I wondered at what she said, trying to apply those elements to myself. Why do I think of quitting the orchestra? Is it because I have no friends? Is it because I can't cope with it? Is it because I'm damn lousy in practises and kept getting scolded?

...Well, no? Okay, I admit that the friends part might be a bit true? I won't denial that I do not have many friends in CO...but, what I felt is the biggest reason was that I am beginning to lose the...excitment of being in an orchestra...

Seriously, I feel that everything changed when we came back from AIMF...or perhaps, things changed from before. *shrugs* I'll never know, but I am certain that something in the spirit of the members have changed.

Perhaps it's the songs? Maybe I don't get as happening scores as I had in the past? I kinda missed the feeling of practising hard for a particular song...even though it'll eat up my time and all...:X not that I am not happy with the current arrangement, since the practising doesn't really affect my homework...(well maybe, it affects sculptoring. OTL)

Whatever the case...I think there's one more element: I don't feel my own existance within the orchestra. Feels like it's okay with everyone if I don't turn up for practise.

*shrugs* then again, I'm quite confident that this is just my over-active brain at work. I can be thinking too much at times. :/

p.s: FFVII:CC's soundtrack is making me emo. ~_~

Woah, essay ahead. @_@

*_* Just had a deep, deep discussion with my dad regarding a topic involved in my Art & History module...'Rules'

At times like this, I love my dad very, VERY much. *happy smile* Discussing different topics with him had been a favourite hobby of mine...my dad's knowledge and opinions about things really surprised me at times...they can be really profound. *__*

:) In anycase, he left me with more views regarding the topics and open my mind to more ideas.

Disclaimer: this are just my own opinions and thoughts about certain things, and they are in no way definitely accurate.

'Rules are everything. They are the way of life, they are restrictions, they are tools to control oneself, and they are definite. Without them, there is only insanity.'

Isn't it true? What's the first rule we set upon ourselves when we are born into this world? To live, and thus we cry for milk.

When you want to urine or shit, you go to the toilet. That's a rule. When you wake up, you brush your teeth. That's a rule. You wear clothes. That's a rule.

But these are things that you can choose to not do, right? What matters is the consequences of NOT doing them. Imagine yourself running naked in the public. It's not something you can't do, but what will the people think when they see you acting in such a way?

'When one says he wants freedom, what he really means is that he wants to follow his OWN set of rules, instead of rules set by others. Madness is the ultimate freedom, since there's no rules, thus one cannot even control oneself.'

It's not necessary to follow a rule, but you'll have to think of the consequences of not doing so.

Imagine there's a bridge. It takes you from point A to B. A rule is something like a bridge. You have to follow it to achieve/do/reach something. But of course, that is not the only way. You can simply swim over, instead of using the bridge. But you'll end up getting yourself wet. That is the consequence of not using the bridge(of not following the rule).

Not all consequences are bad though. Sometimes, when you go against the rule, you'll end up coming up with new rules that works better than the old one.

Regarding law, it is not everything. Law is there to control the bad rules formed by some individuals, such as criminals. A murderer can think 'I want to kill this person', and does so as that is a rule he made for himself. The law exist to control certain rules that might prove harmful to the society and the people.

Punishments are enforcements to certain rules, since some people might choose to be funny and disobey certain rules. The enforcements are there as an attempt to ensure that people obey the rules.

'Rules are meant to be broken- but rules aren't really broken in this case. They are merely remade.'

Rules changes from time to time and from place to place. Evolution and revolution symbolises the changing of rules. When whales moved from land to the ocean as part of their evolution, they were actually changing their rules from 'We live on land' to 'We live in the ocean'.

Thus, rules apply to all living things (even plants have rules).

But anyway, rules are meant to be broken is true to a certain extent as one day, the rules will change, and in a way, that's considered breaking it. A rule is broken when people no longer follows it. Thus when an old rule is pushed away for a new rule, that old rule is considered broken.

...

Okay, enough writing about rules. ^^;; Just writing down my main thoughts now so that I can refer back later if I forget something...

I had similar discussion with Kaiwen just last Tuesday...was doing Art & History homework again...to be honest, this module is quite taxing on the brain. ^^;; But it's fun, in a way. XD;;

--

I'm recently into Lovely-MocoChang aka LM.C (though I really like only two songs...^^;;)

The first is 'Boys and Girls' and is the second opening song for the anime Katekyoshi Hitman Reborn (though I didn't watch it. The quality of that anime sucks, even if the manga is love =_=)

^^; Those who had been paying attention to my 'what I'm listening now' tag on MSN Messenger will know that I had been looping it on and on for the past week.

The second song is damn cute. XD Talks about a pig's love for a lion~ (basically, a fat girl liking a handsome young man)

:) I like the Maya's voice, and to be honest, I'm surprised that they are a two-man band, Maya as the vocals and Aiji as the guitarist(and back up singer, I think)...I thought they are a full band after watching their Boys and Girls PV at first...^^;;

--

I wanna rec manga, really. But...I think this post is getting too long. XD;;

...

Ah well, shall go ahead with the rec-ing! 8D

Shall rec one manga today~

KUROSHITSUJI 黑执事 Black Butler

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp0.blogger.com/_ResYRs_X5Ys/RzhmWkJwhYI/AAAAAAAAAAs/_x-Ugq0dTac/s320/001_4352.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5131964313236440450" />

One of my Reborn-kahki rec-ed this to me, with an indignant 'You don't know?! It's Butler!Mukuro!'

*ahem* For those who don't catch the joke(in which I guess all of you don't), Mukuro is from Hitman Reborn, and the butler in this manga that I am recing now resembles Mukuro ALOT. *__*

MUKURO:

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_ResYRs_X5Ys/RzhniUJwhZI/AAAAAAAAAA0/GZCiRkATAFE/s320/011.png" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5131965614611531154" />

Anyway, I started reading it for the Mukuro-resemblance...but as it gets into the plot, it's quite interesting.

Phantomhive Ciel is the 12-year-old head of the family, with the mysterious yet charismatic Sebastian Michaels serving as his perfect butler. Sebastian can fight, make delicious desserts, extensive knowledge, perfect manners and solves tough problems that might post a threat to a perfect dinner party. But of course, nothing comes for free, and as you can expect, Sebastian is not what he seems...

So far, it has two volumes...though only the first volume is translated into Chinese...which you can find HERE: AT COMIC SKY FIRE!!

---

Okay, I wanna rec another one...but this is getting too long...(is there a word limit? >.>)

Shall post it next time then~ :) That's about it~ For those who have read to this point, you have patiences~ *thumbs up*

Cause I haven't been blogging too much lately.

Joanne commented that I haven't been blogging alot recently! D; Well....let me explain myself~

Reasons why I haven't been blogging recently:

1)There's nothing much to blog about!

Which is true, in a way~ Come to think of it, most of my entries involves lots and lots of ranting about a few people. *shrugs* But that's in the past, while I'm in the comm. And since I'm no longer involved in comm work, the rants doesn't come up as often~

Joanne was saying that I can rant about CO~ XD;; But I don't really have anything to rant about it right now. The only problem I have now is the percussion group...which I had already ranted in the previous few entries. Sooooo, that leaves me with nothing else to rant~

I used to rant about my school work too...especially my teammates. ^^;; Well, it's not like I'm not upset with my school now or anything, just that...it's not as bad as it was in the past. *shrugs*

2)I am lazy.

Blogging in blogger is a littttle bit troublesome...I have to log in. XD;; *lazy*

3)No one reading?

The main reason why I have this blog was because it has a function that enables others to comment about my entries and stuff without having to have an account. A.K.A. the TAGBOARD~

Sadly, not much people is using it, which equates to me not know if anyone is reading my entries or not. I feel like I'm writing to the wall sometimes. Feeling kinda silly, I decided not to write too much.

Well, you can say that I'm attention seeking or whatever, but I prefer to have someone commenting about the stuff I write, and I'll know if people enjoys or hates my opinions and stuff. Isn't that the purpose of online blogging? You blog to let people read it, and when you know that people is reading your entries and commenting about it, you'll feel kinda happy, cause you are being heard.

And you know that some one cares about what you are doing or experiencing or thinking.

Seriously, I can just write in a private journal instead of a blogspot blog if I didn't want to know if people are reading my stuff. *shrugs* But it feels more lonely like that, don't you think?

Enough of the emo-ness~ I shall update soon with another manga introduction~! :D

Travelling adventures ._.

....not really anyway~ XD;; No class today cause Mr.Calvin got something on (I think he went overseas?)...

So, went school at around 11am to discuss my portfolio webby's concept with Ms.Pat...I have to do more research for the ideas...=_=; But Ms.Pat said that I'm quite certain about what I want to portray. *shrugs* Shall continue working on it!

Brought home my sculptoring stuff to do....but I feel damn lazy. =___= Stared at it and feel.......lazy. :/ Still have to do it though...shall work on it on Friday...

(And I have to do my Art history stuff asap, or I'm gonna be damn screwed tomorrow. X_X)

--

Travelling adventure of the day:

Went shopping today after the discussion with Ms.Pat. Went to Kino first, browse around, before going over to the Japanese book counter to ask for Vongola 077 character guide book...I offered to order two for my malaysian friend who can't get it cause their Kino's staff sucks. =_=;;

Anyway~ Kino has stock for the books~! So...$34 bucks gone. ^^;; Though I'm getting back the money from my friend when she comes to SG in december~ :D

After that, I went to Bugis, to look for my cosplay stuff...found none in Bugis Junction, so I went to Bugis Street...end up buying a top. XD;;

Went to Queensway shopping center next....and on the way there, I met with some difficulty in finding the damn bus. =_=

I dropped off at Queenstown MRT station...a signboard says that taking 195 or 51 will take me to QSC. Went to the bus stop. Bus stop's sign board says they'll take me opposite QSC...I missed 51, so I took 195 instead...it travelled for a while, with me getting uncertain as the time passed...so I dropped off beside a mrt station.

Guess what? I'm back to Queenstown MRT Station AGAIN. =__= Apparantly, that bus goes through a loop....and I ended up on the opposite side of the bus stop that I started from. -.-

Waited for 195 again...and it came rather quickly, so that wasn't so bad...dropped off at the destination, crossed the overhead bridge (rather tedious...my bag is damn heavy @_@) and finally REACHED QSC~!

Walked around the place for a while, trying to find the stuff I want...in the end, I gave up and called Taku. He gave me directions and I found the shop~ The vest looks almost exactly the same...the only difference is the edges, but that wasn't a very big problem...

The problem is, the shop ran out of stock for the black vest. @___@ They have light grey, dark grey and dark brown, BUT NO BLACK!! OTL Damn sad lah...I asked the auntie if they are restocking it...and she said she can help me ask...in the mean time, I tried on the vest to see if it works...

Got a white sleeve shirt from the auntie to go with the vest and.....IT'S EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED~! *flails*

I end up buying the white sleeve too~ (so that I don't need to scout anymore...) But it's quite ex...@_@ $50 over bucks...so I told the auntie that I'll come back for it on thursday...she's like 'We don't reserve for people, you know...' --.-- But she offered the option of putting a deposit, in which I did...but I'll have to get down there on Thursday by hook or by crook else........the reservation will be canceled and I won't get my $10 deposit back. D;

>_< Really, REALLY hope that they'll have stock for the black one.......OTL Else I'll have to settle for the more expensive one that's on the second floor of the building...=__=;;

Will have to find mittens next...wool mittens....pale yellow.....Anyone has any lobang? 8D

--

OTL Damn tired. Shall sleep now. No.1: The materials are expensive (40 bucks for the clay and the clay mix). No 2: BENDING WIRES WITH YOUR BARE FINGERS HURTS DAMN ALOT. x___X No kidding, man. It really, REALLY HURTS...and you can't do everything with the pliers....sooo.......fingers. :/

To be honest though, it's a fun module...XD;; But I'm abit scared of falling behind others...*sighs*

The other modules are okay so far...but I have a feeling that they'll get worse as time goes by...

Have to start on portfolio AND minor soon though. *HEAD DESK* IT'S FREAKING NOVEMBER SOON!!!!!!!!! I'm the only percussion fellow in the orchestra today.....and, well, at least I wasn't have TOO much difficulties in the songs....

Mike was worried that the orchestra can't cope with Bali's Dream...:/ And seriously, I don't think we can. Too little people coming to practise, too little people having motivation, too little people being serious.

Lots of things were said today.....and, well, it made me really think about the percussion group...especially about handling the songs...with so many songs to prac, and most of the slightly difficult ones are handed to the year 2 and 1 (jia yi, ying yan and xue hua), I'm really uncertain about our progress...

Then there's the sectional leader thing. Who is the percussion's SL now? To be honest, I have no idea. It used to be Ka ching, and when she left, the role is automatically handed to jia yi for some reason. Personally, I feel that it's too unfair for her.

Had a serious talk with someone just now.....and, well, I became aware of some problems as well...problems that we'll have to deal with sooner or later...I'm abit disappointed that after three years, this problem is still there. *sighs* Perhaps it's in the blood. Ah well.

----------------------------------------------

SO MANY THINGS TO DO, SO MANY THINGS TO TROUBLE OVER. *FAINTS* =___= meh, ganbarimasu. According to Elizabeth, people in Hokkaido are more friendly than those in the big cities~ and from what I experience, the older generations are the friendly ones~ :D

This whole week pushed my japanese to the limits....x_x As Changmin from DBSK once said in a Japanese variety show: これはわたしの日本語の限界だ。
I'm reduced to using really simple sentences...and use gestures and body languages to express what I can't with my super limited vocab...^^; 大変です。But it was good experience~ :D Some of the japanese (the older ones actually) were a little surprised that I can speak japanese as well...^^;; ほんとにはずかしいでした！

I watched alot of japanese tv as well~ free tv has around...six to seven channels, and you get all sorts of things...though it depends on the time as well~ Morning tv ranges from news to places and food introductions and so on~ Not sure about afternoon tv, cause I'm usually out somewhere...evening features news, in which almost a person was reported dead everyday. =_= And after news you'll get either jdorama or variety shows or documentaries or reality shows. That also depends on the channels you are watching~

Anyway, I love japanese variety tv!! <3!! It's so interesting, even though I can only figure out part of what they are saying...they got ALL SORTS OF VARIETY SHOW. Like, ALL SORTS. There's this one which talks about laws...in which the guests are shown a particular scenerio, and they have to guess whether the law allows it or not or something...and they gain points based on how many they answer correctly~

There's another one that's like...team vs team, and each team will sit in a circle with a touch pad screen in front of them, and they have to answer textbook/dictionary questions...damn tough, but if you are japanese, it's really educational~ They have around five sections...and each sections has around ten questions with increasing difficulty(one for each person). For some of the sections, players can answer as many times they like, for others they have to get everything correct at first try, or the team fails that section...interesting, isn't it? :D

Then there's this thing called 'Sasuke Challenge', which is like some kind of obstacle course that's really tough and you have guys coming to challenge it...it has two rounds, though most people fail the first round...x_x it's really tough.

One show I really like was this hide-and-seek show...first section features families inviting the hosts of the programme to come to their house for the game...the familes will then hide themselves in their own house, putting obstacles and traps in the house as well, and the hosts have to find them within the time limit, else the family will get the money~ I cracked up at a part where one of the hosts was so damn frustrated that he yelled 'KUSOJIJI!' XDDD

Second part of the show features celebrities, with one group as the finding team, and the other as the hiding team. The hiding team are told to hide in a school in whatever ways they can as well as put traps and obstacles, and each of them are given 100 000 yen in which they can keep if they remained uncaught till the end. The finding team are then given around 2 hours to find all 10 people. In the end, out of the 10 people, only one managed to remain uncaught~ *__* Though all their hiding places were super.

Then I watched the last episode of HANAKIMI LIVE ON TV on tuesday night, 9pm~ 8D I was like 'OMG THIS IS HQ!!' XDD~ But there's ALOT of commercials....x_x so it was quite agonising. >_> The next night, while I was packing my luggage, Bleach came up...........^^;; And I watched it too, all the while complaining about the dropping standard of the anime...that eps features Orihime saying goodbye to Ichigo, who was in a coma after his intensive training, I think...and Orihime was really sad cause no one can see her...:( Still, the quality of it is BETTER than Reborn, which has too much stills. -.-

Hokkaido has alot of HELLO KITTY stuff as well....O[]O I was so utterly tempted to buy them, but I need to reserve my money...soooo, I only bought a few hello kitty stuff...:( Hokkaido has foxes and bears as its trademark as well, thus there's ALOT of foxes plushies and cute stuff. <33333 TOTEMO KAWAII DESU! >___>!!!

Then there's MARIMO~ 8D Marimo is a type of algae that's shaped in a ball, and it grows around 1-5 mm per year, I think...it's only available in Hokkaido (if I'm not wrong), and it's one of Hokkaido's trademarks as well~ :D Seeing marimo wasn't part of the trip though, and the guide didn't say anything about it...but I read about it in Junjyou Romantica~ XDD So I bought some marimo stuff as well~ :D

Basically, it was a relaxed trip, without much rushing around...and the scenery was really nice, especially on the mountains. The weather was cooling too (thought it nearly went as cold as Sydney's winter), and I SAW PACIFIC OCEAN! 8D It really look like 'World's End'~ XD

Anyway, I'll get the photos loaded ASAP and do a more detailed post~ ;D Please look forward to it~! 8D

Stuff again

Leaving for Hokkaido on Friday morning, and I haven't pack my luggage yet. They are going there for free and easy though, so they had been planning since april...:D She said that if all goes well, she might plan another one at the beginning of next year and me and neesan can go along~ XD!

I still remember how I had planned a free and easy trip to Japan last year...only to be rejected by my parents. :/ They wanted us to go with a tour group cause it's safer...but it also meant that we won't get to buy doujins or anime/manga goods too! >__>

I kinda have in mind what I wanna get in Hokkaido...only if I can get them, that is. Mainly because my birthday usually falls on the weekdays...^^;; in the past, when I was younger, I would celebrate with my family. We'll go out and eat, buy a cake and cut it at home and such, then take photos. Years later, both sisters have jobs that ended quite late at night, which leads to the slow death of this tradition.

It's abit sad, really.

I think that's probably why birthdays are starting to lose their meanings to me. What makes a day special? It's special when people makes it different from the rest of the days. Birthdays used to be special to me as, well, people celebrated my birth into this world. But without this tradition, wouldn't it make this day just like any other ordinary day?

If I'm an optimistic person, I would say 'then everyday is my birthday'. LOL~

To weilin: I'm very touched and happy with the effort you made for me today. But I guess the reason why I wasn't very shocked or surprised might be due to the fact that I didn't felt like it was my birthday...though for that one moment, when the cake was infront of me, it seemed surreal to me that I'm turning one year older...

Thank you for accompanying me today.

なんか存在内の感じがいる...一寸悲しく寂しい...

Fanart!

@____@ Finally finish this! What shocked him more was that this assasin-tutor was barely one-year old.

The little assasin, named Reborn, was hired by the 9th head of the infamous Vongola mafia family to train and prepare Tsuna for his role as the 10th Vongola boss. Apparantly, the 9th boss was Tsuna's grandfather.

Poor Tsuna had no choice, actually, no matter how unwilling he was. Thus, Tsuna's long and dangerous road to being a mafia boss begins...

--

Another focus point of the story is the weapon of choice used by Tsuna(though unwillingly most of the time). It's call the 'Dying Will Flame', that appears after a person is being shot by the 'Dying Will Bullet'. Basically, if the person had any regrets when he was shot, the Dying Will Flame will appear on his forehead and he'll come back to life with MUCH GUSTO to fulfill his wish. After doing so, he'll return back to normal. However, if that person doesn't have a regret, he'll just die after receiving the shot.

--

Is it Good?
Well, to be honest, I wasn't very sure about it at first. I've tried reading it a loong time ago (downloaded the first chapter and such), and I didn't like it. ^^;; Apparantly, the front volumes (from vol 1 to vol 7)are full of random stuff/crack/jokes/plain silliness, and I think the main purpose is to introduce all the characters(including characters that will be important later on in the story...). At the beginning, Tsuna was a SUPER WIMPY fellow that I kinda dislike him...^^;;

In the end, I skimmed through the first 7 books and reached the 8th volume...in which the REAL plot starts, and much serious fighting ensues. And from there, I give the manga at least 8 marks for the excitment~

What about the art?
As you can see from the picture above, it's the kind of art that I like~ XD Reborn! is a shonen manga that's drawn by a female artist, thus you'll get lots of lean and handsome guys, some pretty girls, and some odd ones to show that the artist CAN draw.

Final words
I'll really reccomand it to anyone who likes a unique story~ I like the mafia gist of it as well as the element of something like magic/chakra amongst the real-life weapons. On the other hand, DON'T WATCH THE ANIME. :x the anime doesn't do the manga justice at all. *huffs*

MARKS: I'll give it 8/10~ (really wanna give 9/10, but I have to keep in mind how I had crawl through the first 7 volumes to get to the exciting parts...)

--

p.s: READ IT!

Various stuff~

Am goin to queue for the last installment of the Harry Potter series later on~ Honestly though, I'm not all hyped up about it as I did in the past...=_=; I think I kinda lost the passion for HP after OoP...in fact, I've only read Half Blood Prince ONCE, and that's it.

Still, since it's the last book, it'll be the last chance to queue up for it, thus I'm not missing it. After all, Harry Potter did bring much entertainment to me in the past, especially the first three books, which are more light hearted and funny.

I've read some spoilers online already, though I'm not sure if they are real or not. It's stated that it's 100% accurate though, cause the poster even put up photos of the book pages and stuff (though I didn't manage to see any photos ._.).

(which means that after posting this, I'm goin to sleep. XD;;)

--

I finished the game logo, but Cash is like ':/ it still needs more work.' *sighs* I'm so damn pathetic and useless. *headdesk*

I'm soooo getting a frigging D for my attachment. *depressed*

--

Damn tired today actually, cause I stayed up till 2am to send the AIMF vid to Chin Teck. =__= That woman owned me a favour now~ >D

Kept myself awake in the office by reading lots of manga scans; mainly 'Princess Princess' and 'Reborn!'.

Started Reborn only yesterday, actually. Haven't find a favourite character yet though (Lambo is damn hilarious while Hibari is quite handsome in a sense. Tsuna is too wimpy for my taste though. I hope that when he gets stronger and more sensible in the future, he'll be cooler~)

It turned out to be quite interesting...despite my initial doubts about it (I've read chapter 1 a few months before and didn't like it, cause it was really retarded and Tsuna is so pathetic that it's almost painful to read on)though I think the first few parts were there to introduce the characters. It didn't really touch much on the plot, which involves turning Tsuna into the Vongola Boss. After spoiling myself from wikipedia, it's revealed that the story will get more interesting down the road~ :D I'm at volume 3 now...and there are at least 12 volumes...sooooo yeah, still got a looong way to go. XD;;

--

I'm confirming doing Hosokawa Gracia for EOY~ Oichi was apparantly taken up, and even though acktosh says he doesn't mind duplicates, I mind.

Went to read up on her in Wikipedia and realised that she's the daughter of another character in the game~ LOL

Her costumer doesn't have any armor, which is a good thing, but she has alot of small details like decorative knots, fabric patterns and accessories that are quite....challenging. I'm going to start searching and buying materials this weekend though...>_>

Am also planning to sell stuff for EOY...though that's not very confirmed, since I've no idea if the booking of the booths is the same as last time... ._. I'll be doing Reborn! and Shippuden bookmarks~ and maybe I'll pull out my old D.Gray Man bookmarks to sell as well.

Means that I have to start work on them now if I want to survive school term. x___X;;

--

By the end of this year, I'll be juggling cosplay, my personal fanart stuff, CO and school together...x__X Wish me luck! There'll be many songs for CO, and I have a bad feeling that I might have to play the difficult parts.......and there's school with the portfolio module and minor projects +__+;; (website! *dies*)...and high standard cosplay for gracia, cause my group are made of perfectionists.

X__x Feels like IMPENDING DOOM already. Urgh. I do hope I can survive this year to graduate next year.................. @__@:;

.__.

...My colleague actually wore Sasuke's costume to work today.

..............Sasuke, as in, UCHIHA SASUKE from NARUTO.

..................................

I reckon that he got his costume online (those ready made costumes)...and it looks horrid.

*headdesk*

Did I mention that this colleague is a Sasuke fanboy? !_!;; He's totally obsessed with Sasuke (and SasuSaku).

............my poor eyes >.>

OKAY~ finally got a tagboard running thanks to Damien's help~ :D I'll just have to search for a nice blog skin and I'm done~

x_x it rained in the morning, so I was caught in the rain when I got to Tanjong Pagar. :x Luckily, I brought my hooded jacket, so I didn't get really wet or anything. My pants front was nearly drenched though, so I spent around 15 mins standing in front of the fan in my office, and ended up having to cope with COLD and DAMP pants for the rest of the morning...

Conclusion: Rain water makes your clothes smell if not dried properly. =__+;;

--

Asked about my salary and they kinda...forget that I start work on 28 May and not 28 June. =___+;; So yeah. Informed the admin person about it already (amy; she's a really nice person :D) and she said she'll transfer money into my account...

.....>.< I'm finally getting my pay~!

--

Been slacking at my work these days AGAIN...though I have to buck up soon cause I have to finish the damn logos by this week. x__X;; Ganbarimasu!

Had been watching Hana Kimi(japanese version), and it's really different from the taiwan version's. Taiwan's had more.........funny moments, I guess. Both are good, and since the japanese version is still at the beginning (ep 2), I'll wait awhile before saying which one is better.

Watched Eternal Summer as well......annnnnd.........it's not as sad as I thought it'll be (though I felt kinda sad for Shane when Jonathan told him about the teacher's order). The smex scene isn't much but there's lots of emotions there, so I'll give it thumbs up for that.

Had been reading Claymore and Princess Princess's manga as well, and the sad thing is that I can only read it at work cause my lappy likes to lag these days. x___X;; Damn, need to start burning out things again.

--

Was also looking around at the cosfest photos...and well, I had to say that the standard has increased, compared to last year's...though there are still MANY horrid ones. =__=;;

I'm around 80% sure that I'll do Oichi from Samurai Warriors 2 for EOY...neesan said 'if you want to do, you have to guarantee that your costume will be done by EOY, cause EVERYONE's going to debut there'. XD;;

On the other hand, I wanna do Nabari no Ou as well!! >_>! Will have to do it next year though...x_x I need to find people. Logged in and realised that my old blog has disappeared (or maybe, I've used the wrong account D:).

In anycase, here's my new blog, named 'Rabbit's Corner' cause I can't think of a better name right now. Will change it in the future if I ever get an inspiration for a better name.

I'll try and update this as often as I can, though I won't guarentee anything...if I manage to get the hang of updating in this blog, I'll probably update more often...still, my livejournal will be my main journal.

So yeah, I'll have to go and research on how to change blog skins and stuff........again. --.--

p.s: how do I put in a tagboard?
